fluorescents I could live with.

Never thought I'd say that,

considering how I TRULY believe that
fluorescents are the root to modern man's
headaches & tumors.

But as every good designer/appreciator-of-beautiful-things
would know, aesthetics takes sacrifice.

This undulating (never thought I'd use that word again post RSID)
ceiling landscape is probably worth the pains & green-tinted tans.
Made from metal & acrylic the angled W&W lights
fit into your regular suspended ceiling structure (office design ftw!)
but instead of sitting there looking boring & porous,
they provide lights from one or all sides.

never at night.

Awesome.
Eerie.

Kinda
makes me wanna lose bladder control.

One of the most awesome mediums to play with is undeniably light.
These strategically placed objects help create the direct shadow to form
these amazing chill sending silhouettes.

If I saw these in the daylight, I'd probably be alright.
At night? I'd probably cry and run in the opposite direction faster
than road runner.

Watch 2:33 if you don't wanna watch anything else.

faux-naturel

IT EXISTS.
natural sunlight in crummy dark cave-like bat worthy spaces.
SOLUTION IS HEREEEEEEE. (who else wishes we found this during Jorgy death era? I DO I DO *arms flail*)so... fine it aint no real sunshine. but designer Daniel Rybakken

It takes our brain about 2 split seconds to recognize a distorted rectangle of light as daylight passing through a window. But the smartness of the brain is tricked by a panel of 3000+ hidden LED lights of which emit light in this distorted rectangle shape and therefore FAKING the illusion that there IS a window somewhere.
100% Faux-Natural
