Microsoft Surface, the iPad x MacBook Air lovechild

Yup.
It must be the inner Apple fanatic in me that's stopping me from
appreciating this Microsoft tablet-esque product.

Windows 8 Powered "iPad" , the
Microsoft Surface
-10.6" screen (1366 x 768 resolution)
-Magnetic cover attachment with keyboard & trackpad
-Full sized USB 3.0
-Display Port

-Micro SD slot

Soooooooooooo, they basically just made a glorified tablet cover.
The potential one up on this thing.

Regardless, to me this still just looks like a
iPad + MacBook Air love child.

Keep you posted if my mind changes.

material collabo.

WOOD x PLASTIC.

no theses are not designer collaborations but a material marriage.
flexibility and precision of plastic && the recyclable and renewable plus of wood...

...IN ONE
this might not excite many of you. but this is pretty sweet if your a major
green geek.
Arbofoam (the name of this new .. element)
made from lingin (wasted and thrown out element of regular wood) is mixed with
resins flax and fibers. Shove this concoction into a mold and it can pretty much make ANYTHING.
this fossil watch = reminiscent of the W-SHOCKs.

---
for greenies:
Arbofoam breaks down fastt + organically into water & co2.
Plus its main ingredint is the left overs of tree parts that can't be used during the paper-making procss.

red light, green light.

conversation between a certain mcmini, fetus and i engaged in a little heat & a bit of mutual frustration.
another time before, a bb-resistant character and i went to bubble tea and had the same discussion (post looking over and seeing a table of 8. no movement...but in their soon-to-be carpel-ed fingers):

why are blackberry owners incapable of in-person interaction?

no lies and no denials.

i was 110% infected and guilty of the mad texter syndrome and still am while under the influence.

which is why im attempting in turning over my phone now.
when you dont see the blinking demon light ur nerves calm.

'Commodity Love'
by: Alice Wang
(for more)
at the end of the day, are we letting commodities take over our life and overrule the sparkle and magic between human interaction?
phone calls are now more sparse and texting has now dominated the networks.

i think maybe were all just longing little more attention from the person infront of you than for them to concentrate on the 2 x 3 (max) glowing rectangle.

not pointing fingers. i too am also still in mid-modification. I mean they don't call it a crackberry for no reason.
just yet another bb challenge-- stop at with the red light.

greener than green..thing > golf cart

if you didnt DIE from stomach pains via laughing i dont know who you are.
such a sneaky little invention...think of all the small woodland creatures you'd trick. Ive always had a strang liking towards golf carts and the fun times associated with them but THIS, THIIIS is a winner.

From the artist himself:
"From the time of our birth, humans have felt a primordial urge to explore -- to blaze new trails, map new lands and answer profound question about ourselves and our universe." -NASA

"In the spirit of NASA and its forthcoming 2010 lunar expeditions in preparation for colonzing the moon, the Terrestrial Shrub Rover presents the opportunity to exzplore terrestrial and social envrionments back on Earth from within a manned, foliage bedeckedm, solar electric powered rove. (also in development is an unmanned remotely controlled webcam version)"

dpi.

As some of us try to up the dpi for non-crap looking images. There are plenty of others that have pushed it down to make some pretty ballin' things:

Designed by: Christofle
This can be used as a pendant, keychain an ornament for your purse or bag. Unisex!
This pixelated alien stands at $100 Euros... about $140 CND.
Pixel inspired watch-- sold only in Korea. Thanks SuPark.

Designed by: Mike and Maaike Studios
Seems like its pixelated cloth jewellery. Possibly could be cooler if each pixel were plastic cubes.

To check out more click here, here, orrrrrr..... here.

These coasters are perforated so you can be creatively decisive to make your own unqie pixelation.

Livs: Pretty sure we can add this to our list of intensely branded weddings.

Inspired by 8-bit retro illustrations.
My guess of either one of their occupations-- computer scientist or graphic geek

For all you hypebeast nerds out there you've probably seen this.... but this is too cool not to share.
