and the best costume goes to....

what is better than creative halloween costumes?
Given that toddlers can pretty much waddle their way into any heart without the aid of styling, creative costume ideas really don't hurt.

Here are some of the best ones I've seen this year.

Little Old Lady - Homemade costumes for babies
Some mom out there got sooo stoked for the tooth decaying occasion that she actually dressed up her child in a different outfit as an advent calendar to the big Halloween day!

my heart just exploded.
Happy Halloween!

a head of mistakes.

Totally cute and interactive these erasers allow you to mold hairstyle as you screw up your math questions.  If I had these as a kid, I probably would be more inclined to do my work.

With these cuties, who needs to be embarrassed by their mistakes?

don't worry, you'll get your espresso in space.

ISSpresso is the first capsule-based espresso system that is able to work in the intense conditions known as the outer space.  Argotec, an Italian engineering company (which I guess also clicks with the passion of espresso) specializes in aerospace systems. The company also also a leader in Europe for developing healthy options particularly for space consumption. Lavazza (renowned Italian coffee makers) collaborates with these space food enthusiasts and create a gem that can now create the perfect espresso in a zero-gravity environment.

This unit will be used in the "Corner Cafe" on the ISS (International Space Station) hence the cleverly named ISSpresso machine. This will be the first time a coffee is offered onboard the international space station.

Of course this contraption is not limited to espressos, it will be able to create caffe lungo, hot beverage such as tea infusions and broth.

After all, even astronauts need their caffeine.

the building that just doesn't stop getting built.

The Sagrada Familia
is one of the most notable pieces of architecture internationally.
It's construction commenced in 1882 and Architect Gaudi (who's work is littered throughout the charming city of Barcelona) took over the project in 1914.  For those that don't know, this building has been in non-stop construction since its commission.
The world is looking to see it in all its completed glory in 2026.
In the meantime, here's a 1 minute video lapse courtesy of modern rendering technology.
