HEY, isn't this the SketchUp favorite?

Maybe my lack of enthusiam for the designer
has blinded me to see the real "genius" to this particular design...

Convenient and actually kinda cool :)

Hanging from each "dispenser" is the sample item for inspection.

A total 0f 2550 items can be in inventory and on display at once.
Sure, there's not such thing as "Streetology"
but the patterns created by the various levels of inventory
can pretty much act as a bar graph (haven't made those in ages)
and display the trends of all those tee shirt advocates.

I don't think that's normal.

the internet blackout-- learn & fight the SOPA/PIPA war.

Today, thousands of websites
-BLACKED OUT-
as a protest against the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) and Piracy IP Act.

Among these include website giants & information pools such as:
*Google *Wikipedia *Craigslist *Wordpress

Seems irrelevant?
Watch & See how it can affect you

PROTECT IP / SOPA Breaks The Internet from Fight for the Future

SUMMARY:
Government and corporations could block any site,
foreign or domestic for ONE infringing link.
Site like YOUTUBE. TWITTER & FACEBOOK
would have to censor their users or shut down
since they are now reliable for EVERYTHING users post.

Any ORDINARY user could got jail for FIVE YEARS
for positing copyrighted work... even COVERS of pop songs.

It all began with a trip to a train model shop.

'Plastic Life' a book released by Vincent Bousserez
is a collection of ironic, cute, and smile worthy photographs
of mini train people (screw being tech term correct)
in a larger than life world.

needs to be built more small people friendly.

EXTREMELY LOUD AND INCREDIBLY CLOSE.

First novel
(that wasn't a Sophie Kinsella or Baby Sitters Club)
I ever read cover to cover.
(don't judge me just cause that was me in Gr. 12)

But more importantly this was the first novel that
ever made sit in awe... and tears.

I laughed to myself.

braille burgers.

This has to be one of the most
creative, loving, thoughtful & stupefyingly beautiful
things I've seen in a while.

THE WORD TO BE SPREAD :
To let all visually impaired people know that braille menus are offered @ all Wimpy Burger locations.

HOW THEY SPREAD THE WORD:
Sesame seeds on the burgers were placed to ACT like braille
so that they were able to experience their meal with more than
just their taste buds :).

More acceptance.
More consideration.
More creativity.

put it together.

For whatever reason, my life has recently been littered
by mad amounts of engagements and wedding bells.
(TOTALLY STOKED & HAPPY FOR Y'ALL BTW :D)
I'm taking it all as happy news/inspiration/splashes of hope for my
(maybe) future & not as the universe's horrid version of a rude tease.

three 13s.

DID YOU KNOW?

That today is the FIRST OF THREE.

Friday the 13ths this year?

WHY THIS DAY IS EVEN A SUPERSTITION:

• On Friday the 13th, 1979, a black cat crossed the path of Houston football player Tony Frisch and was accidentally kicked 67 yards for a world record.
--tough luck bud.

• On Friday the 13th in 1962 a Colorado couple, while watching Channel 13 in the honeymoon suite of a Las Vegas motel, were crushed to death by a falling mirror.
-- is this why we can't be breaking mirrors?

• On Friday the 13th in 1957 a duck hunter, wearing a rabbit's foot around his neck while hunting near 12-Gauge, Texas, was kicked to death by a giant 3-legged jack rabbit.
--that's just karma.

• On Friday the 13th in 1966 a Detroit sociologist, who had just demonstrated his lack of fear by walking under 13 ladders and throwing a black cat through a mirror, was run over by a limousine driven by blind soul singer.

--WHY WAS THAT GUY DRIVING TO BEGIN WITH,
that's just.... ya i guess bad luck.

- - -

Historically, Friday was supposed to be the
MOST UNLUCKY day of the week.
(Clearly, some people were NOT introduced to the 5 day work week)
For good chunk of time in Spanish history,
Tuesday the 13th was the day of bad luck.
So either bad luck just keeps streaming down the week
orrrr we're all just psycho.

- - -

Totally not supersticious.

So....

new years resolutions.

Teresawozniaknewyears

The fact that a poster can be generated for NewYear Resolutions
means that we all actually have the same darn goals.

Yet ironically,
with EAT BETTER as the one of the obvious
priorities, the weight of the average American is still shoooting sky high.
