Robocup.

When the days of studio were still looming over my head,
I don't think I could count the number of Nissin noodles I consumed.

There were days where you were impatient and basically as dried noodle sticks
but there were also days where you were so caught up in that failing CAD file
that you forgot the noodles were even there
and it ended up being a cup of mashed potato like blob in soup.

As a staple chapter in every Asian person's childhood / university life,
I'm sure we could appreciate this nifty noodle timer.

Celebrating 40 years of saving student's lives
Nissin got Vstone to create a robot timer as a prize giveaway.

3 minutes is all you need to make that Al Dente cup of noodles.
Now you won't miss it with this timer.

It spits out proverbs, trivias and fortunes for the 3 minutes your waiting,
how thoughtful : )

i tend to fall for the ugly.

I would like to think that I'm not a shallow person.

& To be honest, by the looks of it, I'm really not.
I'm not going to venture into the realm of dating.. cause then
you just start to offend people =P... KEEDING.

I have a natural attraction to things that are not your conventional "cute".
For those of you that recall "ChuckaNucka" my Ugly Doll acquired in Pittsburgh
you'll know that i find the ugliest things quite charming.
Which leads me to....
"HELLO AGAIN Monsters"

Each one is hand crafted & sewn by its creator.
The inspiration just comes from everywhere. No 2 monsters are the same. No twins allowed.
All these buggers are created from vinyl. Best part-- they all have hearts on their bums. <3.>

THESE GUYS.
"The Kreechers Klub"

Now apparently sold @ Indigo @ around 30 bucks a pop.

Introduced to me by my broski and how he randomly has one just
chilling in the back seat of his car. Not all of them are cute though. Just
the ones i decided to feature below. The one he has is quite fugs.
Its true what they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

...&& just cause these colour splatters may not be fantabulous to you, they're (almost) like Tiffany's and Munnys to me :)

tie the essence.

Things like this make me want to rummage through
my household and find random things to make pretty.

I love when people use the most simple things and amplify the
crap out of it through ballin' creative minds
Some may argue that a successful piece of artwork is one that captures the essence of the imitated object, or embodies the essence of which it is trying to project.

One of the greatest things of the art&design of today is reappropriation of materials.
Using things for their unintended use.

Each one is created out of ribbons.
Each is handmade.
Therefore, none of them are the same.

THIS is the world of...

360 kitty.

some of the most epic collectibles are cross-breeds.
my first recollection of something pretending to be something else was HELLO KITTY.. in duck & bunny & frog costumes.

No lie, i have all 3 @ home. Then came the explosion of those Winnie the Pooh things.
- - -

Hello Kitty's pretty grandma. Created in 1975, she still is on top charts
for favorite cartoon characters of all times.

Maybe its cause those Sanrio Folks know how to cater to the ever aging Kitty loving crowd.

i want.
or a collection of dunny and munnnys....
