birds in my tea.

As a self proclaimed tea enthusiast
I have seen a lot of tea cup collaterals
but this one is definitely on my must have list.
 B I R D I E S W I N G
Birdie Swing is a tea infuser.
 Instructions/use:
1. Fill the T-Bird with loose tea.
2. Place it on a cup of hot water. The lid keeps the tea hot a little longer.
3. Once brewed, turn the lid over to use as a drip-tray.

clear drop of coffee.

For those of us that ingest this energy shocker on the regular,
we all grow to appreciate the finer coffees with time.
This vessel is not only good to look at, but engineered to
provide the perfect quality cup of joe.

The double walled glass not only allows for
visibility of the intricate process but also for heat retention.

MANUAL was launched with 'Chicagoland', a curated exhibition for ICFF 2013. The prototypes will be further tested and refined for a Kickstarter launch in late Summer 2013.

fleathering.

felt  x  leather
is always a good combo.

After seeing Benji's Handgraft iPhone case
I finally decided to delve into the world of Handgraft
just to see what other goodies they might have in store.

“For three years we have produced almost every single hard graft product ourselves,
just two people, cutting, sewing and shipping,”
 -James & Monica

I love this Handgraft nonsense.
Its such a old world craftsmenship with the new world technology
nestled in its awesomely designed crevices.

“when we started we knew it would take real honest hard graft to make it work, so here we are.”

ctrl your food.

Wish you could 'Esc' your appetite?

'Ctrl(orApple)-z' that last (dozen) of sushis

you stuffed down your throat at All-You-Can-Eat?

(yup, that moment that you realize being cheap & asian just ain't worth it)

Or just 'Alt' & drag that caviar to save for later?

.

.

.

I DID.

To be honest,

computer short cuts are just as commonly known

to the new generation as 'LOL' and :) emoticons.

If you don't know it, it probably just means

you still manage to spend a little more time outdoors

than you do infront of that glowing monitor

(& for that I congratulate you.)

The application (pun!) of digital behaviors is

the bang of an idea for these 'iPlates'

(On a side note: This whole 'iwhatever' thing is gettin' a little ridiculous.

Like. I. GET. IT. Now let's stop & learn to actuaallllyyy be witty again)

The collection of 4 (china plates) includes:

-Import Food

-Edit Food

-Image Size

--Ctrl Z

They're pretty darn cute alright,

but breaking the bank at 25 EUROs* (around $37.50 CND)?

That's probably a decision I'll 'Ctrl-Q'

(ha! 'iSoWitty')

it's the most wonderful time of the year.

It's never too early to think about Christmas.
I blast Christmas Pop-hits 2001 the moment Thanksgiving is over dude.
(2 more months baby!)

& what's even better than that?
Christmas, now in Pantone.

8cm diamater
or 3.14" if you prefer imperial.

p.s. for even more reason to be excited for Christmas...

i am shamelessly in love with Biebs.
PLUS, his new found man voice just totally justifies my crush.

goldfish, now living on the edge.

Risky business for these (seemingly) clueless creatures.

Each hand blown to its wobbly goodness each of these babies
all look like they're ready to topple & smatter.

As much as it might make you uncomfortable & weary,
to be honest Goldilocks probably can't tell the difference in there.

so-long bacteria bars.

I don't remember the last time I used a bar of soap.
The only times where I was ever to use it, it was a forced upon issue.
AKA: @ a hotel where they're too cheap
to give you prepackaged little travel bottles.

The liquid soaps have now taken over the shopping aisles and the
amount of bar soaps have been diminished down to the sad bottom end
corner shelf.

Q: WHY DO WE HATE THEM SO MUCH?

For one they're nasty, they slip and slide practically everywhere.
Like, let's be real, who can really control those slippery bars of disaster?
A when its used by more than one person.... EEEEEEEEK. Even worse, "where was the last place you washed with that?"

Their downfalls aside, liquid soap is mad wasteful.
Their water content is much higher than the actual soap content
giving you less bang for the buck and are packaged in large
plastic containers.

This is all one up-ed by bar soaps paper packaging and high soap
concentration content.

SO HERE'S THE SOLUTION TO THE BACTERIA INFESTATION:
SOAP FLAKES.
(audience roars)

Using the simple concepts of different cheese graters the bars of soap are now
able to be used without the slippity slime situation.
Not only are you saving the earth, but you're also adding a little
something special to your b-room. You know, dinner conversation and all.

Second version is the turning grater.
It kinda looks like a lightbulb... or an alien.
Only concern is.. won't it be hard to turn the knobby when
my hands are wet???
Well whatever, its kinda cute to have in there with the rubber duckies.
